My Dear we're slow dancing in a burning room |

Im on a highway to nowhere, trying to get by without you.
Albeit my oh so busy schedule however, i will continue posting, just to practice my english. The weather's not been getting any nicer at all, the heat's only getting more intense every day. And our minds are getting more affected by it every day. Every opportunity we get in class to cause havoc, we do it, alright so this isnt much of a difference from last time, but, the havoc's just more, chaotic. My class is just obsessed with creating chaos. Just today during maths, when our teacher came to class a little bit late, that couple minutes spent teacher-less was spent throwing things in the fan, shouting our usual mindless pointless insults at each other, throwing bags at joel chee and watching the bag owners flinch in disgust, shouting Iron man really loudly and watching glascow get pissed off. And much help from sam chew's frequent shouting of the word "chaos". Sigh. I truly love my class. If it weren't for them, i'd prolly be a stressed out over worked and underpaid bum with no happiness. The prelims start tomorrow. Sigh. And on friday, we've got national day celebrations, and no way in hell am i going to school for 2 hours to sit in the sun and watch a few uniformed men shout out foreign commands and then march at attention to god knows where and then about turn to march back the same way they came, then hear some boring speech from some boring unkown fella, then sing a couple of "community friendly" songs of patriotism and love for my country. pfft. Never in my 16 years of living has the patriotic side of me been strong enough to actually bother to attend these things. Alright fine so i should be proud of the country, boo yay happy country day. Tsk. And its not like the songs they make us sing are very fun to sing either. Theyre songs written to stimulate the interest of elderly folk who dont appreciate modern music, hence, you get songs like, "stand up, stand up for singapore." tsk. Well anyways, i can bet 70% of the school population wont be in school on friday either, of the 30% who are going, 20% are involved in the parade, and the 10% are just dickweeds. Alright, my amath is calling me back to the table. I wish i could stab it. One last thing though. Lizzzzzzzzz, do you see that? Do yuh? :D She'd kill for that book. :) I'll be seeing you. ao |
